Major Lazer and Los Ángeles Azules headline FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert in L.A. and Mexico City
FIFA announced the lineups for its simultaneous Countdown Concert series on June 10 in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Toronto, developed in collaboration with the Grammys.

Three cities, one night
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert is shaping up to be one of the more ambitious live events tied to the tournament. According to Billboard, FIFA announced on June 2 that the shows will take place simultaneously in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Toronto on June 10, developed in collaboration with the Grammys. The concept is straightforward: three host countries, one synced night of music before the competition kicks off.
Mexico City: Los Ángeles Azules, Belinda, and Elena Rose at the Auditorio Nacional
The Mexico City bill is headlined by the iconic cumbia band Los Ángeles Azules, joined by pop star Belinda and Venezuelan singer-songwriter Elena Rose. The show takes place at the Auditorio Nacional and forms part of the broader México Vibra event, which also brings together Alejandro Fernández, Carín León, Timbiriche, Carla Morrison, and Meme del Real on the same night at the same venue. A special guest has been announced but not yet named.
Los Angeles: Diplo brings Major Lazer
In L.A., Diplo will perform under his Major Lazer project, with Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido also confirmed for the night. Additional performers for the Los Angeles show are still to be announced.
Toronto: a lineup already in place
FIFA revealed the Toronto lineup earlier, on May 29. Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi alongside Sanjoy and Vegedream, and a collaboration between AHI and Wyclef Jean are all confirmed, with more artists still to come.
How to watch
The Countdown Concert will stream live at 7 p.m. local time in Mexico City, 6 p.m. in Los Angeles, and 8 p.m. in Toronto. It will be available on FIFA's digital channels, including a global livestream on the FIFA World Cup TikTok account.
