Violet Grohl adds second London show at Camden Assembly after tour sells out fast
The Los Angeles artist adds a second Camden Assembly date on September 2 after demand made a single London show impossible to sustain.

Violet Grohl adds a second London night
Violet Grohl's debut solo tour is already outgrowing its original footprint. The Violet Grohl Los Angeles-based artist has added a second London headline show at Camden Assembly, now scheduled for September 1 and 2, after demand made a single date unworkable. According to NME, the extra night was confirmed following the strong response to her recently released debut solo album, Be Sweet To Me.
A debut album and a tour in the same breath
Be Sweet To Me came out on May 29 via Aurora Records, with singles including 'THUM', 'Applefish', '595' and 'Cool Buzz'. The original headline tour, announced in April, already covered the US, UK and Europe. The UK run now opens on August 25 at Manchester's Deaf Institute, moves to Glasgow's King Tuts on August 26, and closes with the two London nights at the start of September.
Beyond the headline dates, Grohl will also appear at Reading and Leeds Festivals, Electric Picnic in Ireland and Pukkelpop in Belgium. European stops include Berlin, Cologne and Paris.
