Hans Zimmer Next Level Tour lands in Australia

Hans Zimmer is bringing his Hans Zimmer Next Level Tour to Australia for five arena dates across October 2026. According to Billboard, this marks the German-born composer's second arena run in the country in just 18 months, following five east coast shows in April 2025. The tour kicks off October 12 at RAC Arena in Perth and wraps October 28 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

A bigger production than before

Zimmer will tour with a 19-piece band and a cast of vocalists, among them Lisa Gerrard, known as a singer with Australian group Dead Can Dance. The stage design is described as a newly conceived "striking architectural concept" that blends electronic sound design with orchestration. The composer has been characteristically blunt about what he wants audiences to feel: "I want fans to feel like they're at a rave party or riding a roller coaster," he said in a statement.

Already a proven hit in Europe

The tour is not a speculative gamble. By April 2026, the production had completed 50 sold-out shows across 17 countries, selling more than 600,000 tickets in Europe alone. The Australian run is presented by Frontier Touring, Semmel Concerts and RCI Global.

Zimmer's catalogue needs little introduction. Scores from Gladiator, Interstellar, Dune and The Dark Knight are among the titles that have contributed to a combined global box office gross of more than $28 billion across his 500-plus projects. His awards shelf holds two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes and five Grammys.
