Dom Dolla sells out Marvel Stadium Melbourne in record time
Presale allocations were gone within hours and general tickets followed instantly. The Sept. 24 show marks the world premiere of his new stadium production.
A historic sellout for Australian electronic music
Dom Dolla has sold out Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, his hometown, in what promoters are calling one of the most significant moments in Australian electronic music history. According to Billboard, presale allocations were exhausted within hours, and all remaining general-sale tickets disappeared instantly. The Dom Dolla show is scheduled for Sept. 24 and will serve as the world premiere of his new stadium production. A waitlist is now open for fans who missed out.
"This puts electronic music in Australia firmly on the global map," said Nicholas Greco, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Untitled Group, one of the two promoters behind the event alongside Frontier Touring.
A run of momentum that is hard to argue with
The sellout does not come out of nowhere. Born Dominic Matheson, Dom Dolla had already set a benchmark for electronic music events in Australia with a record-breaking sold-out debut at Sydney's Allianz Stadium in December 2025. Earlier that same year he headlined two sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden to more than 30,000 fans and completed a 10-week residency at Hi Ibiza, ranked the world's No. 1 club.
Beyond the live circuit, 2025 also brought his film soundtrack debut with "No Room For A Saint" featuring Nathan Nicholson for the F1 movie soundtrack.
The numbers behind the name
Dom Dolla has accumulated more than 1.5 billion streams and holds four ARIA Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Release, plus the inaugural ARIA Global Impact Award presented by Spotify. On the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, his peaks include "Dreamin'" featuring Daya at No. 5, "Rhyme Dust" with MK at No. 9, and "Forever" with Kid Cudi debuting at No. 9. He also received a Grammy nomination for his remix of Gorillaz's "New Gold" featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown.
For a genre that has long fought for arena-level recognition in its own backyard, a Marvel Stadium sellout carries a weight that goes beyond ticket counts.
