Carín León Tour Norteamérica 2026 opens strong in Texas
Carín León launched his Tour Norteamérica 2026 on May 20 with a sold-out night at the Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. According to Billboard, the show ran for two and a half hours and featured more than 30 songs performed alongside 27 musicians. The production transported the audience to León's world with a main stage and a secondary one built to resemble a cantina, evoking his hometown of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
Special guests and setlist highlights
The opening night brought out three special guests: producer Edgar Barrera, singer Bobby Pulido, and Óscar Iván Treviño, the lead singer of Grupo Duelo. The set opened with "A Través del Vaso" and moved through Billboard chart hits including "Primera Cita," "Te Lo Agradezco," "El Amor de Mi Herida" and "Según Quién." Tracks from his latest album MUDA also featured prominently across the night.
What comes next on the tour
The run hits several landmark venues across the United States. León is scheduled to play Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 22, Nu Stadium in Miami on June 28, and BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on September 20. The tour's most talked-about stretch is a seven-night residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas starting September 4, where he will become the first Latin artist to headline a residency at that venue. The tour is presented by AEG Presents.
