Teyana Taylor joins the 2026 American Music Awards performer lineup
Teyana Taylor will perform a medley from Escape Room at the 52nd AMAs, joining a lineup that already includes Twenty One Pilots, Maluma, and others.

Teyana Taylor confirmed for the AMAs stage
Teyana Taylor has been added to the performer lineup for the 2026 American Music Awards. According to Billboard, she will perform a medley of hits from her fourth studio album, Escape Room. Taylor is also nominated for best female R&B artist at this year's show.
The announcement comes after a strong stretch for the singer-actress. She received the Visionary Award at the Billboard Women in Music event on April 29, was nominated for a Grammy for best R&B album for Escape Room, and earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for One Battle After Another.
Who else is performing
Taylor joins a lineup that already includes Hootie & the Blowfish, Keith Urban, Maluma, Riley Green, sombr, KATSEYE, Twenty One Pilots, and Teddy Swims.
Queen Latifah will host the event. She previously co-hosted the AMAs in 1995 alongside Tom Jones and Lorrie Morgan.
When and where
The 52nd American Music Awards airs live on CBS and streams on Paramount+ on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Nominations were announced on April 14, and fan voting closed on May 8, with the exception of social song of the year and tour of the year, which remain open through the first 30 minutes of the broadcast.
