P!nk, Queen Latifah and Whitney Leavitt to perform Chicago 30th anniversary tribute at the 2026 Tonys
P!nk, Queen Latifah, Whitney Leavitt and more will take the Tony Awards stage on June 7 to celebrate 30 years of the Chicago revival.

All that jazz, live at Radio City
The 2026 Tony Awards are shaping up to be a big night for Broadway nostalgia. According to Billboard, P!nk, Queen Latifah, and Whitney Leavitt will headline a tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Chicago revival, joining Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Alex Newell, Adrienne Warren, Julianne Hough, and Dylan Mulvaney on stage for the segment. The announcement came on June 1.
The ceremony will broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 7, airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. The three-hour program kicks off at 8 p.m. ET, with P!nk also set to host the full show.
Why Chicago still matters
The original Chicago musical opened on Broadway in 1975 with Jerry Orbach, Chita Rivera, and Gwen Verdon in the cast. It ran for about two years before closing. When the revival returned in 1996, it became Broadway's longest-running show of all time, a record it still holds.
The cast members joining the tribute each bring a personal connection to the material. Whitney Leavitt, known from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, just completed her run as Roxie Hart in the Chicago revival in early May. Queen Latifah, for her part, earned an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Matron Mama Morton in the 2002 film adaptation directed by Rob Marshall. That film's soundtrack debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in early 2003.
More performances to come
The Chicago tribute is not the only legacy act on the bill. The original Broadway cast of The Book of Mormon, including Andrew Rannells and Josh Gad, will also perform during the ceremony to mark its 15th anniversary. More performance announcements are expected throughout the week.
