Frankie Valli cancels all remaining 2026 tour dates to focus on his health
The 92-year-old singer announced the cancellation of his remaining 2026 dates, pausing the Last Encores Tour farewell run he started in 2023.

Frankie Valli cancels all remaining 2026 tour dates
Frankie Valli, who turned 92 in May, has canceled all remaining 2026 tour dates for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to focus on his health. The announcement came on Friday, May 29, via the group's Instagram account. According to Billboard, Valli did not disclose details about his specific health concerns.
"I'm so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows, but I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health," Valli wrote in his statement. "I'm looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon."
The Last Encores Tour on hold
The cancellations affect what had been a packed second half of the year. Valli was scheduled to appear in select U.S. markets in June and July, with a further run of dates from September through November. All of those shows are now off the table.
The affected dates were part of the Last Encores Tour, the group's farewell run that began in 2023 and had most recently been extended through late 2026.
A career measured in milestones
Valli's standing in American pop history is hard to overstate. He and The Four Seasons charted five No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, starting with "Sherry" in 1962, which reached the top after Dick Clark introduced it on American Bandstand. As a solo performer, he added two more chart-toppers, including the title track for the 1978 film Grease.
Last year, the Recording Academy honored him with a lifetime achievement award at its Special Merit Awards. He had never previously won a Grammy, a fact he acknowledged with characteristic humor at the ceremony: "I don't know what took so long, but that's the way it goes."
In a February interview with Tucson radio station 94.9 MIX FM, Valli explained what keeps him performing after decades on the road. "Be loyal to what you're doing and love what you're doing," he said. "If I had not become successful I'd probably still be working in some little bar. I love music that much."
