Flea and Thom Yorke reunite in London to cover Marvin Gaye's Got to Give It Up
The Atoms for Peace bandmates performed Got to Give It Up and their recent collaboration Traffic Lights at a London show.

An unexpected reunion in London
Flea and Thom Yorke, both known as members of Atoms for Peace, reunited in London for a performance that few saw coming. According to Pitchfork, the pair played a cover of Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" alongside their recent collaboration "Traffic Lights."
Two songs, one stage
The setlist was short but loaded. "Got to Give It Up" is one of Gaye's most celebrated tracks, a sprawling, groove-driven cut that has cast a long shadow over popular music for decades. Placing it next to "Traffic Lights," a newer joint effort between the two, made for an interesting contrast between homage and original work.
For fans of either artist, or of Atoms for Peace as a project, the footage is worth seeking out. Thom Yorke and Flea do not share a stage often, which makes any reunion feel like a small event in itself. Pitchfork has the video at pitchfork.com.
