Electric Mayhem take over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney World with Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson
Janice and Floyd Pepper from the Muppets' Electric Mayhem talk music, famous collaborators, and which cast member was secretly scared of the ride.

The Muppets move into Disney World's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
The Electric Mayhem band has taken over the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney World, and the attraction now features collaborations with Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson, among others. Janice and Floyd Pepper sat down with Billboard to walk through what the revamped ride sounds like and how the project came together.
Songs that pick you
When asked how the setlist was assembled, Janice kept things philosophical. "We don't pick the songs, the songs pick us," she told Billboard. Floyd backed her up in his own way: "You can pick your friends, and you can pick your songs, but you can't pick your friends' songs." Classic Electric Mayhem logic.
The Electric Mayhem band has been a fixture of Muppet lore for decades, but landing guest spots from two of pop and soul's heaviest voices is a notable step up. According to Billboard, a Jennifer Hudson track was enough to get the interviewer dancing mid-ride, which is either a strong endorsement of the song or a testament to Hudson's pull regardless of context.
Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and groovy auras
Janice described the sessions with Clarkson and Hudson as "transcendent," adding that "our auras were totally in sync." Floyd, ever the pragmatist, settled on "groovy" as his verdict for everyone involved. Whether the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster leans more into classic rock or contemporary pop across its full runtime is not yet detailed, but the presence of those two collaborators hints at range.
Miss Piggy was scared (allegedly)
The interview did surface one unexpected detail. When pressed on whether any Muppet found the ride too intense, Janice eventually gave up the name: Miss Piggy. It is a surprising admission for a character whose entire brand is unshakeable confidence, and it may be the most quietly human moment in any Disney World press tour in recent memory.
