Cara Delevingne signs with Warner Records and announces debut album for this summer
The model and actress has signed with Warner Records and will release her debut album this summer, backed by singles 'I Forgot' and 'Out of My Head'.

Cara Delevingne debut album is finally happening
Cara Delevingne has signed with Warner Records and is set to release her debut album this summer. According to Billboard, the deal comes alongside two already released singles, "I Forgot" and "Out of My Head," which mark her most committed solo music statement to date. The move confirms what had been a long-gestating ambition for someone better known, until now, as a model and actress.
Her own words
Delevingne has been candid about what the project means to her. "Music was always that dream I had, but never believed I would get the opportunity to create," she said. She described writing "I Forgot" as feeling like a rebirth, and "Out of My Head" as a form of therapy. The language is earnest, and the songs reportedly back it up.
Aaron Bay-Schuck, CEO and co-chairman of Warner Records Group, spoke warmly about the signing. "It surprised me in the best possible way," he said, pointing to the vulnerability and range of sonic influences across the material.
Not a complete newcomer
Delevingne is not arriving at music from a standing start. Over the years she contributed a song to the 2017 sci-fi film Valerian, directed by Luc Besson, in which she also starred. She has also appeared on records by Fiona Apple (Fetch the Bolt Cutters), St. Vincent (Masseduction) and Dijon (Baby), and performed in the Cabaret revival on the West End. The context matters: this is someone who has circled the music world for years before stepping fully into it.
Live dates ahead
To support the release, Delevingne is scheduled to play shows across Europe, the U.K. and the U.S. this summer. The confirmed festival appearances include All Things Go NYC and multiple editions of Primavera Sound, in Barcelona, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.
