Cameron Hoy named TEG group CEO as Brad Banducci exits after one year
Brad Banducci is leaving TEG roughly a year after joining, with COO Cameron Hoy stepping into the group CEO role effective June 1.

A leadership handover in Sydney
TEG, the Australia-based live entertainment, ticketing and technology group, is changing hands at the top. Brad Banducci is stepping down as group CEO, and Cameron Hoy, the company's chief operating officer and head of global ticketing, takes over effective June 1. According to Billboard, the transition comes roughly a year to the month after Banducci was first announced in the role.
"When I joined the group just over a year ago, I came in to do a specific role, to set the group up for the next horizon of growth," Banducci said in a statement. "I felt the time was right to transition leadership of the group."
Who is Cameron Hoy?
Cameron Hoy has been part of the live entertainment and ticketing industry for more than 20 years, according to Banducci's own remarks. He joined TEG in January 2019 and was elevated in 2023 from managing director at Ticketek to his most recent group-wide role as COO and head of global touring.
"TEG exists to partner with the world's best venues, promoters and rightsholders to connect fans to the moments that matter most," Hoy said on his promotion.
Banducci's brief tenure
Banducci arrived at TEG with more than 30 years of leadership experience, primarily in retail and consumer sectors. He had served as CEO of Woolworths Group, the Australian supermarket chain, from 2015 to 2024. His appointment to TEG marked a shift from the previous long-standing CEO Geoff Jones, who moved into the chairmanship.
