2026 album release calendar: every confirmed drop date so far
From BTS in March to Madonna, Olivia Rodrigo and Ariana Grande before July, Billboard is tracking every major album release date of 2026.

2026 album release calendar takes shape fast
The 2026 album release calendar is shaping up to be one of the busiest in recent memory, and we are barely into the year. According to Billboard, artists across genres have been announcing release dates at an unusually quick pace, with several major projects already confirmed and others still without a firm date.
The early movers
Hilary Duff kicked things off in February with Luck...or Something, her first album in 10 years. The release came after she announced a new deal with Atlantic Records alongside a docuseries documenting her return to music.
BTS gave its fanbase early cause for excitement when, on January 4, the group confirmed its next album would arrive in March. It is the group's first full project after members completed mandatory military service in South Korea and pursued solo work in the interim.
Fellow K-pop act BLACKPINK also moved quickly, dropping DEADLINE in February. Harry Styles announced his fourth studio album the day after BLACKPINK's reveal, with that record landing in March as well.
Summer is already looking crowded
As the calendar moves toward warmer months, the competition gets stiffer. Madonna, Olivia Rodrigo and Ariana Grande all have albums slated to arrive before the end of July, according to Billboard's running tracker. Three of pop music's biggest names in a single summer window is not something that happens every year.
What to watch
Billboard's calendar is updated continuously, and several artists have been announced without confirmed release dates yet. The usual caveats apply: delays happen, sometimes more than once, and some albums will drop with almost no warning at all. The best approach is to treat any date as provisional until the record is actually on streaming platforms.
For everything else dropping this year, keep an eye on our charts and hot releases sections as dates get locked in.
