World Cup 2026 songs: from Shakira and Burna Boy to J Balvin and The Rolling Stones
Billboard rounds up the best songs released for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, from the official anthem by Shakira and Burna Boy to tracks by J Balvin, LISA, and Grupo Frontera.
World Cup 2026 songs arrive from every corner of the planet
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup less than a week away, the World Cup 2026 songs keep stacking up. According to Billboard, the official soundtrack to this summer's tournament is already one of the most ambitious music projects ever assembled around a soccer competition, spanning continents, languages, and genres. The tournament itself breaks new ground too: for the first time in history, matches will be held across three countries, Canada, Mexico, and the United States, running from June 11 to July 19, with the final set for MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The official anthem and the album behind it
Shakira and Burna Boy lead the charge with "Dai Dai," the official FIFA anthem. The track blends reggaeton and afrobeats into something deliberately uplifting, and it anchors the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album, an 18-track release that FIFA president Gianni Fantino described as a project designed "to unite fans worldwide through the power of music and football." Eighteen tracks makes it the most extensive music project ever created for a World Cup.
Ronaldinho, Sean Paul, and a Latin-leaning deep cut
Former Brazilian soccer icon Ronaldinho put together his own contribution: the album Camisa 10. The project features Sean Paul, Justin Quiles, Luis R. Conriquez, and Lenny Tavárez, among others, and moves through dancehall, música Mexicana, cuarteto, and piseiro. It is a reminder that the cultural footprint of a World Cup spreads well beyond the stadiums.
The wider field
Beyond those two records, the list Billboard assembled covers a wide range of artists who have released soccer-themed music for the occasion. J Balvin, LISA, Carlos Vives, Jelly Roll, Grupo Frontera, and The Rolling Stones all appear, which gives you a sense of how broad the tent has become. Whether or not all of these songs survive the month-long tournament is another question, but for now the playlist is genuinely diverse in ways that past World Cup cycles rarely managed.
