Diplo says his son's kindergarten graduation DJ set ranks among his most important career sets
The producer played his new track 'Two Steppin'' for a crowd of six-year-olds after his son Pace's graduation ceremony, calling it one of the most important sets of his career.

The most exclusive party of the year
Diplo has played Antarctica, the world's biggest festivals, and some of the most storied nightclubs on the planet. But according to Billboard, the Diplo DJ set that may have meant the most to him happened outside a school building, for a crowd of kindergarteners. On May 23, the 47-year-old producer shared a video on Instagram of himself spinning for his 6-year-old son Pace and his classmates right after their graduation ceremony. "Most exclusive party of the year," he captioned the clip.
'You ready to get crazy?'
In the video, Diplo, born Thomas Wesley Pentz and known as a co-creator of Major Lazer, drops his new track "Two Steppin'" with Adrien Nunez while a group of kids jumps and dances on the lawn. He claps along, throws his hands in the air, and asks the crowd, "You ready to get crazy?" The children, predictably, erupt.
"Adding my son's kindergarten graduation to the list of most important sets of my career," he wrote across the video. The moment is hard to argue with.
Celebrity reactions
The clip drew comments from several high-profile names. Cardi B wrote "I love" alongside a red heart emoji, and Paris Hilton added a raising hand emoji. For a man whose recent credits include producing five tracks on BTS's Billboard 200-topping album ARIRANG, the kindergarten lawn seems like a perfectly absurd and endearing capstone to a run of activity.
Diplo shares Pace with model and former Miss Universe contestant Jevon King. He is also the father of Lockett, 15, and Lazer, 11, with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart.
